CHERRY HILL, NJJuly 12, 2010 Cherry Hill-based Professional Podcasts LLC, the award-winning video and multimedia production subsidiary of Lubetkin Communications LLC, has produced a web video news report featuring the Rutgers Future Scholars program at the Rutgers-Camden campus.

During the program, 45 eighth-graders from the Camden school system took part in a career day exploration with South Jersey business leaders. The students also visited four businesses in Camden as part of the program.

The video – viewable in the player above, and also available on the web at http://children.camden.rutgers.edu/future_scholars/index.html -- depicts the career conversations students held, and highlights the students’ visit to Susquehanna Bank’s branch in Camden’s Victor Building and the bank’s regional headquarters on the nearby waterfront.

The video news report includes interviews with Rutgers educators and Susquehanna Bank officials about the importance of the Rutgers Future Scholars Program for keeping students focused on success in school. Susquehanna Bank is providing major financial support for the Rutgers Future Scholars Program.

“We are pleased to continue our video production relationship with Rutgers-Camden. The continued shrinkage of the broadcast television industry means that local TV news departments don’t have the resources to cover community and corporate events like the Rutgers Future Scholars,” said Steve Lubetkin, managing partner of Professional Podcasts and principal videographer for the Rutgers Future Scholars program. “Our news wrapper product allows organizations to satisfy their audience’s need for video coverage at an affordable price, and we can offer global distribution at an economic price point.”

URGENT: U.S. Citizen, NJ Resident Lost in Honduran Waters, Family Seeks Assistance to Finance Search

Press release
Att: All media
Media Contact: Jeff Dunsavage (732) 306-5854

U.S. Citizen, NJ Resident Lost in Honduran Waters, Family Seeks Assistance to Finance Search

May 13, 2009 – Joseph Dunsavage, Sr., (photo below) has been missing in the waters off Roatan, Honduras since Sunday, May 10.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

He was last seen in a 9.5” x 5.5” white catamaran with a blue bimini top (photo below). He was fishing 200 yards from the beach when he is believed to have experienced engine trouble and begun drifting southwest toward Belize or the Honduran mainland.

Due to the limited resources being provided by the Honduran and U.S. governments, the Dunsavage family has mounted their own search and rescue effort using privately financed aircraft and watercraft. They are coordinating closely with the military to ensure that all resources are being effectively deployed.

In a bizarre twist, the search efforts for Joe Dunsavage actually located another soul who was adrift for 11 days in a similar sized boat, which means there is a lot of renewed optimism and we will not stop the search.

IMPORTANT! DONATION EMAIL ADDRESS CORRECTED BELOW,  AS OF 6:34 PM (GMT-4) 5/18/09.

CCIM Institute, Leading Commercial Real Estate Professional Organization, Doubles Podcasting Programs for 2009 with Cherry Hill, NJ-based Professional Podcasts

NEWS RELEASE

Edward M. Bury, APR
Senior Director, Public Relations, CCIM Institute

CHERRY HILL, NJ – January 16, 2009The Chicago-based CCIM Institute, the leading organization for commercial real estate investment professionals , is expanding its successful two-year podcasting initiative for 2009, nearly doubling the number of Internet-based radio programs it will produce with Cherry Hill-based Professional Podcasts LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lubetkin Communications.

Professional Podcasts has been producing CCIM’s popular “RERC/CCIM Investment Trends Quarterly” Podcast, a joint project of the Institute and Real Estate Research Corporation, since 2007. In 2008, CCIM broadened the successful production relationship to include podcast programs for other CCIM initiatives, such as the Education Foundation of the CCIM Institute and its participation in the annual CCIM & IREM Success Series conference.

In 2009, CCIM Institute and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) expect to produce a significantly larger number of programs.

“We are very excited to expand delivery of our commercial real estate analysis and expertise to our members and prospective members,” said Edward M. Bury, APR, senior director of public relations for CCIM Institute. “The response to the programs Professional Podcasts has been producing has been tremendous, and this renewed arrangement underscores our belief that podcasting is a very cost-effective way for us to provide important information about our capabilities and expertise.”

CCIM podcasts are available for downloading and listening on computers or digital audio players at no charge at CCIM’s podcast website (http://podcast.ccim.com). Visitors to the website can also get information on how to “subscribe” to RSS Feed distribution of the podcast so that they receive alerts about future podcasts automatically. (There is no charge for “subscribing” to podcasts). Podcasts are also available at no charge to subscribers to the Apple iTunes Music store (www.itunes.com) and can be accessed directly in iTunes (information about iTunes subscriptions to the podcasts is also available on CCIM’s podcast page).

“Podcasts are an excellent vehicle for CCIM Institute and other professional organizations that want to demonstrate their thought leadership in their specialty fields,” said Steven L. Lubetkin, managing partner of Professional Podcasts. “CCIM Institute has always had a clear vision for incorporating this fast-emerging social media capability into its business applications. Podcasting can benefit every organization by providing their clients, members, and other constituencies important information conveniently. Podcasts free those audiences from less-flexible programming formats like conference calls or web streams, where busy and time-constrained participants must gather at a common time. Podcast listeners get the information they need -- at a time when they want it – and unfiltered by any other gatekeepers.”

Podcasts are digital audio or video recordings distributed using Internet technology. Visitors to an organization’s website can download podcast programs for review on their desktop computers, or synchronize them with a portable digital media device. Software programs called “feed readers” or “podcatchers” allow users to “subscribe” to podcasts at no cost, and receive new programs in a podcast series automatically.

About CCIM Institute

The CCIM Institute confers the CCIM designation and is an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). The CCIM movement began more than 40 years ago with commercial real estate practitioners who wanted to elevate their business practices through education and networking. Then and now, education and networking remain the cornerstones of the CCIM designation and the reason for its success.

The CCIM Institute's core competencies of networking, education and technology impact and influence the way CCIM members do business. Recognized for its preeminence within the industry, the CCIM educational curriculum leading to the designation reflects the diversity of occupations and developments within the commercial investment real estate profession. Today, nearly 350 classroom offerings are presented in more than 50 markets. Local chapters and regions represent and actively promote the CCIM designation and curriculum throughout the United States and Canada. Maintaining relationships with other prominent real estate organizations nationally and internationally, the CCIM network is a powerful vehicle for developing business throughout the world.

With more than 19,000 members in 33 countries, the CCIM Institute has emerged as a truly global organization. For additional information, e-mail pr@ccim.com, call (800) 621-7027, or fax 312-321-4530.

Professional Podcasts producing programs for NAPL, Leading Printing and Graphic Industry Trade Organization, at its Top Management Conference

Cherry Hill-based Professional Podcasts LLC (www.professionalpodcasts.com) is producing podcasts this week at the Top Management Conference of NAPL, the trade association for excellence in graphic communications management, in Santa Barbara.

Here I am enjoying one brief moment of sunset by the Pacific Ocean, which is right across from the Four Seasons Resort where the conference is taking place.

Completing a podcast recording at the NAPL Top Management Conference are (from left): Maudie Briggs, president of Morrison Communications, Morristown, TN; Jerry Mechell, president of Swifty Printing, Arlington, TX; Joe Truncale, president and CEO of NAPL, conference host organization; and Don Bergeron of Daily Printing, Plymouth, MN.

We've been producing podcasts for NAPL for nearly a year now, and this is an organization that truly gets the value of podcasting for delivering their intellectual content to a highly focused and information hungry audience.

We've been busy podcasting, though. We've completed six podcasts (one recorded pre-conference, and five completed onsite.)

Our approach to podcasting is different than many podcasters. We regard this as a serious communications tool that can be used by business organizations to reach audiences with structured, informative content. When properly produced (like long-form public radio programming) podcasts can deliver content to dispersed audiences on a time schedule convenient for them, and at a cost for production that is dramatically lower than other media.

You can listen to the podcasts at NAPL's website or subscribe to the feed.

NAPL is also issuing press releases about the podcasts:

Wordsprint's Gilmer Discusses How Focusing on Vertical Markets Helped His Company Succeed in NAPL Podcast

PrintingForLess.com's Field; Davies of Action Printing; and NAPL Board member Westfall Discuss Customer Service at TMC

You can also visit our websites, www.lubetkin.net or www.professionalpodcasts.com, to see the complete selection of podcasts we are producing for clients.
