CHERRY HILL, NJ – December 30, 2009 Jewish Family Services of Delaware is expanding the outreach of its popular “Growth-Education-Mental-Fitness,” or GEM workshop programs for active adults, by producing video podcasts of the presentations with Professional Podcasts LLC, the award-winning video and multimedia production subsidiary of Lubetkin Communications.

The first program in the series features Dan Stabb and Mark Bringhurst of the CUBED Improv Comedy troupe (http://cubedimprovcomedy.com/) in an improvisational comedy workshop. Stabb and Bringhurst engaged workshop attendees as participants during the session.

The video is available for viewing (no cost) at http://www.jfsdelaware.org/GEM.htm, or on the Professional Podcasts video channel at http://professionalpodcasts.blip.tv/file/2978251/. The JFS video programs are also available through the Apple iTunes Music Store.

The second program features Dr. Ina Li, associate director of geriatrics at Christiana Care Health Systems in Wilmington, DE, discussing "Aging Gracefully." The program is also available on the JFS Delaware website at http://www.jfsdelaware.org/GEM.htm, or on the Professional Podcasts video channel at http://professionalpodcasts.blip.tv/file/3020629/.

Interested viewers can also subscribe to the JFS Delaware podcasts through an RSS Feed at http://feeds.feedburner.com/JFSDelawarePodcasts. There is no cost to subscribe to an RSS feed. The programs will also be available at no charge through Apple’s iTunes Music store at www.itunes.com.

The GEM program videos are made possible in part through a contribution from AstraZeneca.

“Our mission is helping people improve their lives and life prospects,” said Dory Zatuchni, chief executive officer of JFS Delaware. “Many of our GEM participants have busy, active lives and can’t attend every program, so enabling them to participate through video podcasts of the workshops fits perfectly into that mission.”

“We are pleased to be working with Jewish Family Services to produce this programming,” said Steve Lubetkin, managing partner of Professional Podcasts. “Online videos like this have become an increasingly important way to help nonprofit organizations of all sizes engage with their client base, and also demonstrate their effectiveness to prospective donors and other supporters by explaining their missions in ways that can’t be accomplished exclusively through words and still photos.”

Professional Podcasts is also producing an e-learning program for JFS about its participation in the “Money Follows People” program that helps disabled persons transition out of nursing homes to independent living arrangements.

CHERRY HILL, NJ – December 24, 2009 –Flaster/Greenberg has begun distributing a series of nine video podcasts about New Jersey’s new Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA). The video podcasts were recorded during a half-day seminar Flaster/Greenberg held at its Cherry Hill, New Jersey conference center in November.

The videos are available for viewing (no cost) at http://www.flastergreenberg.com/Page1401.aspx, or on the Flaster/Greenberg podcast blog at http://flastergreenbergpodcasts.blogspot.com/. The video programs are also available through the Apple iTunes Music Store.

Professional Podcasts LLC of Cherry Hill, the award-winning video and multimedia production subsidiary of Lubetkin Communications, produced the programs and handled the Internet distribution of the podcasts. Since 2005, Professional Podcasts has been producing audio podcasts for Flaster/Greenberg, including the popular Rutgers Quarterly Business Outlook, which the law firm sponsors.

The Site Remediation Reform Act made significant changes in the relationship between owners of affected sites and the professionals with whom they need to work to resolve environmental issues,” said Franklin Riesenberger, shareholder and chair of Flaster/Greenberg’s Environmental Practice Group. “The changes are complex and difficult to understand, so while we knew our perspective on the new law would be valuable to our clients and the commercial real estate community, being able to offer a complete video program extends the benefit of our expertise to an audience that was unable to join us for the actual seminar.”

“We are pleased to be working with Flaster/Greenberg to produce podcast programming,” said Steve Lubetkin, managing partner of Professional Podcasts. “Flaster/Greenberg was one of the first firms to recognize that their many constituencies find great value in the ability to access the law firm’s expertise and knowledge through audio and video podcasts. Online videos like this have become an increasingly important way for firms of all sizes to engage with their client base, and demonstrate their effectiveness and thought leadership to prospective clients in ways that can’t be accomplished exclusively through words and still photos.”

ACE Building in Philadelphia Earns ‘Green’ Designation; Becomes Only LEED®-Certified Existing Building in the City

Note: The video in this release was produced by Professional Podcasts LLC of Cherry Hill.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The ACE Group of insurance and reinsurance companies today announced that its building at 436 Walnut Street in Philadelphia has earned the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). The building, located near Independence Hall in the city’s Historic District, is the only LEED-certified existing building in Philadelphia. The 350,000-square-foot structure houses 900 employees and serves as ACE’s North American regional headquarters.

“We have made a substantial commitment to reduce our global carbon footprint, and that includes our operations here in Philadelphia,” said Brian Dowd, ACE Limited Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Insurance-North America. “Implementing the steps to earn this certification in one of our largest facilities represents a major accomplishment in our environmental mission.”

Watch a video news wrapper about the LEED building here.

The ACE facility achieved LEED-EB (Existing Building) certification for energy use, lighting, water and material use, and other sustainable strategies. LEED certified buildings save money for families, businesses and taxpayers; reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to a healthier environment for residents, employees and the community.

“ACE’s LEED certification in Philadelphia demonstrates tremendous green building leadership,” said Rick Fedrizzi, President, CEO & Founding Chair, USGBC. “The urgency of USGBC’s mission has challenged the industry to move faster and reach further than ever before, and ACE serves as a prime example of just how much we can accomplish.”

The certification recognized several ACE achievements with the building in key criteria areas. Examples include:

  • With an Energy Star score of 74, the building uses 20% less energy than buildings of equal size in the Philadelphia region. Through further energy reducing projects being implemented this year, such as installation of new energy efficient boilers, the company expects to reduce its energy consumption even further over time.
  • 90% of all electronic products (computers, printers, cell phones, televisions, etc.) purchased for the facility are Energy Star certified.
  • 57%, by weight, of all waste leaving the building is recycled.
  • 25% of ACE employees commute to the office utilizing alternative transportation, including rail, bus, walking and bicycling.

In addition to its commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the environmental impact of its operations globally, ACE offers insurance products and risk management services to help commercial customers meet environmental and climate-related challenges. The ACE Green Website (www.acegreen.com) highlights the full range of insurance products and services ACE offers around the world to help clients manage their environmental and sustainable business development risks. Through its third-party administrator, ESIS, ACE also provides environmental engineering and consulting services to clients, including a LEED consulting practice area.

The U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED green building certification system is the foremost program for the design, construction and operation of green buildings. The LEED for Existing Buildings Rating System helps building owners and operators measure operations, improvements and maintenance on a consistent scale, with the goal of maximizing operational efficiency while minimizing environmental impacts.

The ACE Group is a global leader in insurance and reinsurance serving a diverse group of clients. Headed by ACE Limited (NYSE:ACE), the ACE Group conducts its business on a worldwide basis with operating subsidiaries in more than 50 countries. Additional information can be found at: www.acelimited.com

NOTE TO EDITORS: An event marking the LEED designation will be held in the lobby of ACE’s 436 Walnut Street building in Philadelphia on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time. Additional details will be provided in a separate media advisory.
