Professional Podcasts delivering high-quality podcast interviews for Online News Association's Annual Conference

ONA launches podcasts, Twitter feed,
forum ahead of next week's conference

WASHINGTON, D.C. (September 2008) – With less than a week until the ninth annual conference, the Online News Association is offering participants a sneak peak of what's coming. ONA is distributing podcasts with interviews from attendees and panelists on what they think the future holds for the news industry.
Produced by a leading producer of audio and video podcasts for corporations and professional organizations, Professional Podcasts LLC, these podcasts offer a great chance to hear the voices and ideas that will play a big part in the conference.
They are available on ONA's podcast blog, http://ona2008podcasts.blogspot.com/, through RSS, http://feeds.feedburner.com/Ona2008ConferencePodcasts, and on iTunes (search ONA08).
This year, Twitter will be the "control tower" directing real-time traffic before, during and after the conference. Add @ONA08 or #ONA08 to your tweets and join our Twitter feed today.
Before the conference, we're using Twitter to answer last-minute questions and introduce the student newsroom participants. During the conference, we'll point you to links for interactive live blogs during the panels, we'll take questions from Tweeters, we'll send reminders for events and heads up for last-minute events. After the conference, we'll keep the conversation flowing with post-conference info.
Additionally, ONA has set up a bulletin board, http://journalists.org/2008conference/forum/, for group discussions on topics featured at this year's conference. Journalists can also use the board to network and set up meetings ahead of time.
