CHERRY HILL, NJ – October 4, 2008 – Professional Podcasts LLC, the subsidiary of Lubetkin Communications that produces high quality audio and video programs for distribution over the Internet as “podcasts,” has been recognized for its podcast programs by the Jersey Shore Public Relations and Advertising Association (JSPRAA) with the organization’s prestigious “JASPER” award in the podcasting category. The award was presented at JSPRAA’s awards dinner at the Robert B. Meyner Reception Center at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, Monmouth County, on October 3.

Professional Podcasts won the recognition for podcast programs it produced on behalf of NAPL, the Paramus-based global trade association that provides high level management and operational commentary through podcasts to member companies in the printing and graphic communications industries.

“We’re pleased to have recognition from our peers in the advertising and public relations communities that podcasting has an important place in the overall communications toolkit for companies, trade associations, professional groups and business services providers,” said Steve Lubetkin, managing partner of Professional Podcasts. “Organizations that use podcasting technology understand that podcasts can provide their members and other audiences mission-critical information in a cost-effective way, while also allowing them to get the information they need -- at a time when they want it.”

Podcasts are digital audio or video recordings distributed using Internet technology, either through websites or a technology called an RSS feed. Visitors to an organization’s website can download podcast programs for review on their desktop computers, or synchronize them with a portable digital media device. Listeners can “subscribe” (at no cost) to podcast “feeds,” and receive new programs in a podcast series automatically. Professional Podcasts also helps its clients make their programs available to more than 100 million owners of Apple iPod digital media players, who can download podcasts from the online iTunes Music Store (http://www.itunes.com/.)
