CHERRY HILL, NJ – September 23, 2009 – Professional Podcasts LLC, the award-winning audio and video production subsidiary of Lubetkin Communications LLC, has produced an online electronic learning (e-Learning) program for Philadelphia-based sales culture expert Todd Cohen.

The program, accessible from Cohen’s website (www.toddcohen.com), is a 45-minute training course entitled “Essential Selling Skills,” available free to sales professionals who register at the site.

The multimedia program uses slides and synchronized audio and video commentary by Cohen to describe the important skills required for high-powered success in professional sales leadership positions, and focuses on the important responsibility of creating an effective sales culture in the sales professional’s organization.

“Sales culture is one of the most important elements of a successful sales organization, yet many companies don’t fully understand how critical it is to properly train both sales professionals and other personnel in how to create a collaborative sales culture in which everyone works for the ultimate good of the client,” said Cohen, a nationally recognized sales culture expert and consultant in creating winning sales cultures. “By offering this Essential Selling Skills course online, I’m hoping that we will get sales professionals to start thinking seriously about how to integrate effective sales culture creation into their organizations. That’s where the sales rubber hits the road, and that’s where we can make a significant difference in how well companies close the sales in their pipelines.”

Professional Podcasts uses a development tool called Articulate Rapid E-Learning Studio '09 to combine elements of visual presentations like Microsoft PowerPoint slides, videos, and audio narrations or commentaries, in a synchronized e-learning program delivered through client websites or on disk.

The programs, delivered in the popular Adobe Flash video format, appear on a web page in a theater-style format customized with each client’s logo and corporate color schemes.

Presenters’ photos and bios are integrated into the presentation environment, which also includes handout materials, an interactive glossary, and audience participation materials such as quizzes and surveys.

Other examples of Articulate presentations produced by Professional Podcasts are:

1. A presentation on the importance of using podcasting to promote a company’s subject matter expertise, at http://www.professionalpodcasts.com/slideshows/socialmedia/player.html

2. A presentation analyzing a recent appeals court oral argument involving patent law disputes, produced for Woodcock Washburn LLC, an intellectual property law firm in Philadelphia, at http://www.woodcock.com/publications/podcasts/brock/player.html.

3. Presentations produced for KenCrest Consultants of Plymouth Meeting, PA that are available to subscribers at KenCrest’s Transition Map website, http://www.transitionmap.org.

“Articulate’s robust toolset enables us to convert presentations, speeches, and training materials into dynamic, highly interactive, visually attractive e-learning courses, presentations, quizzes, and surveys for clients like Todd Cohen, who want to deliver their content and expertise to their audiences in an online format,” said Steven L. Lubetkin, managing partner of Professional Podcasts. “Articulate programs we create for Todd and other e-learning clients are an excellent complement to our production of broadcast quality audio and video content for delivery over the Internet as podcasts.”

Professional Podcasts can produce Articulate-based e-Learning modules for hosting individually on clients’ websites, or through specialized Learning Management Systems that keep track of participants’ progress through corporate training programs administered online.

Programs can be designed in linear fashion or to permit students to revisit sections in a sequence of their choosing. Progress reports can be delivered automatically to training managers. The programs are compatible with the online learning industry’s Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) standards.
