CHERRY HILL, NJ – March 9, 2009 – Cherry Hill-based Professional Podcasts LLC, the award-winning creator of audio and video podcasts (radio and TV shows distributed over the Internet) and other multimedia content, has added a professional broadcast teleprompter to its service offerings for clients.
Professional Podcasts’ new Ikan PT-2000 teleprompter permits clients to deliver prepared remarks for video recording, reading from a scrolling text display, while continuing to make eye contact with the video camera, according to Steve Lubetkin, managing partner of Professional Podcasts.
“Many video producers rely on posterboard or notecards to provide text cueing for clients,” said Lubetkin. “Those solutions are timeconsuming to prepare and difficult to read. Offering our clients a true broadcast quality teleprompter for cued delivery of speeches or other presentations on camera makes the finished presentation that much more polished.”
Clients using Professional Podcasts’ teleprompter service provide their remarks in an electronic text file or word processing document, and Professional Podcasts loads them into the teleprompter’s software. The scrolling speed and size of the text are both adjustable for the comfort and style of the speaker.
