Magic Software Appoints David Zigdon as its Chief Financial Officer


OR YEHUDA, ISRAEL; July 26, 2007 - Magic Software Enterprises Ltd. (NASDAQ: MGIC), a leading provider of state-of-the-art business integration and application development technology, has announced the appointment of David Zigdon as the Company's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective October 1, 2007. Mr. Zigdon replaces Ziv Zviel, who served as the Company’s VP finance and operations.

 

"David brings to Magic Software extensive and diverse financial leadership experience,” said Eitan Naor, President and CEO of Magic Software, in announcing the appointment. “He will play a key role in the continued implementation of our long-term strategic and financial goals. Mr. Zigdon comes to Magic Software Enterprises from Power Paper, a leading pioneer of micro-electric patch technology for the pharmaceutical industries. Prior to Power Paper, Mr Zigdon served  for six years as Chief Financial Officer of Radcom Ltd. (Nasdaq: RDCM), a technology developer of innovative network test and service monitoring solutions for communications service providers and equipment vendors. From 1989 to 2000, Mr. Zigdon was a Manager in the RAD-BYNET Group, where he began as Chief Financial Officer and continued to serve as Chief Executive Officer of Bynet Electronics Ltd. for four years.

 

Mr. Zigdon is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.A. in economics and accounting and an L.L.M in business law from Israel’s Bar Ilan University.
